I'm Melanie. I grew up in and love still living in Alaska.
I'm currently a homemaker for my dear husband Travis and our baby boy Charley.
My husband is a computer scientist nerd and I'm all about ballroom dance. When I get out its usually to go teach some Ballroom Classes, or assist in coaching the High School Team I got started dancing with.
I'm an optimistic person, which I attribute greatly to my faith. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I'm also an unemployed but Certified Medical Assistant, and find health topics fascinating.
I'm a natural redhead, asthmatic, and love growing all the pretty flowers (perennials get me really excited because in the long run, are much easier and less expensive)
I'll admit I'm not that great a chef, but I can (usually) follow a good recipe. My favorite recipes are ones I just dump all the ingredients into a pot a mix and cook or forget about then remember when they suddenly smell good. IF I can't find those I settle for ones with as few steps as possible. Often combining steps on my own and having it never turn out the same way twice..... usually still good though!
My baby is like me, loud and pretty opinionated. I can't wait till he has words.
